THE MULTIBUBBLE
MULTIBUBBLE IS AN IMMERSIVE ART EXPERIENCE THAT FEATURES A RANGE OF COLLABORATIONS DESIGNED TO ALLOW THE VIEWER TO PEEK INTO VARIOUS CREATIVE UNIVERSES.
ARTIST / PRODUCER
Kylie Brown
Kylie Brown experienced these plastic bubbles when her father would create them for the family in the eighties (perhaps as a nod to E.T.) and would continue to create bigger versions for the grandchildren. These were not only fun but it also served well as a drastic measure to quarantine the siblings when sick. He would project movies on the plastic and provided a space for blankets and stuffed animals.
KylieB is a passionate creative producer who encourages ideas and the execution for arts engagement events: nonprofits and businesses in branding; media and marketing content management; and is an active connector in content, technology, and logistics. Kylie has over 10 years of experience bringing people together to create a culture of collaboration in Kansas. She has developed and built programs such as CreativeRush, 1st TUE Talks, and Down to the Wire™.
You can find Kylie as:
the Project + Web Facilitator for Horizontes; the Projectionist at mama.film; the web developer for rePROmamafilm.org; and a Project Consultant + Web Manager for beseenvote.com.
In 2017, Kylie co-created the MULTIBUBBLE experience with Lisa Rundstrom and worked with over eight artist groups to provide structures in Wichita, Kansas. In 2019, she was a Curatorial Resident at Paul Artspace and created a bubble for exhibition. Now in 2020, Kylie is providing direction to WSU ShiftSpace students and to the community to build a quarantine and pandemic safe version of #MULTIBUBBLE.
